What To Expect When You Receive A Reading
It is important for the Inquirer to understand what he/she can expect before speaking with an Intuitive. The better prepared you are, the more comfortable you will be with the information you receive. An Intuitive can access his or her intuition in several different ways:
Clairvoyance
Clairvoyance means clear seeing. If you are working with an Intuitive who utilizes clairvoyance as their primary sense, they will often ask for a picture of the person whom you are seeking information about. A Clairvoyant Intuitive will also receive most, if not all, of their information in the form of pictures, movies, and symbols. The predominate sense that this kind of Intuitive will use is mostly visual. You may hear the Intuitive say things like: "I am seeing railroad tracks and a large red and white cement truck". The majority of the information you receive will be visual, so asking the Intuitive visual questions may be helpful. A good example of a question would be: "Do you see one or more people?" or "Do you see the make and model of the vehicle?" You will actually help the Intuitive by asking what they see instead of what they are getting. If you know the predominate intuitive sense they use, you can ask a more focused question in hopes of receiving clearer information.
Clairsentience
Clairsentience means clear feeling. If you are working with an Intuitive whose primary sense is clairsentience, they may ask to feel an item related to the case. By touching this item, they will use an intuitive skill called psychometry. Psychometry is the art of tuning into the vibration of the subject by holding one of their personal items. If you know that the Intuitive you are working with prefers to use clairsentience as their primary intuitive sense, then you will want to make sure you have an item on hand with which they can use to direct their focus. A good example of a question to ask would be: "Do you feel anything surrounding the subjects body?" or "Do you feel like she is alive?". By asking feeling orientated questions, you will allow the Intuitive to access the sense they have developed strongest, and your chances of getting more information are usually increased.
Clairaudience
Clairaudience is another sense which many Intuitives use to access their intuition. Clairaudience means clear hearing. Most Intuitives who utilize clairaudience as their primary sense often hear words, sounds, or sentences in their mind. Most do not hear voices as if someone is speaking physically, they will usually hear these words in their mind as thoughts. This is better known as telepathy. Telepathy is no different than the thoughts that go on inside your mind. The main difference is that a well developed Intuitive knows which are their thoughts and which ones they are receiving from Intuition. A good example of a question to ask a clairaudient Intuitive would be: "Do you hear the subject saying anything?" or "Do you hear anything surrounding the subject?".
The Other Senses
There are other senses that some Intuitives use, such as taste and smell. If you were to work with one of these Intuitives, you would want to ask questions related to the senses they are picking up on. Many Intuitives use more than one, if not all of the senses mentioned.
Shane Michael's Abilities
The primary senses that Shane Michael utilizes during the course of a consultation are: clairsentience and clairaudience. He will often encounter odors and tastes, but the primary senses he has developed are seeing images and receiving telepathic information.
As mentioned in the clairaudient section, he will often receive words, names, and sounds during the course of accessing his intuition. He does not hear voices or any other sounds which would be deemed by a Psychiatrist as psychotic. He receives thoughts which are directed into his conscious mind from the unconscious. He will then convey this information to the inquirer.
Most Intuitives have a set of guidelines they use during the course of their reading. These guidelines allow the Intuitive to maintain a clear connection with their intuition. If the inquirer interrupts or violates one of these guidelines, the consultation could suffer as a result.
The recommendations Shane Michael has for his clients are as follows:
- I will sometimes ask for the first name of the subject.
- I like to provide all of the information that comes through first.
- After I have brought through all of the initial information, I like to have the inquirer ask specific questions to see if the answers will come through.
- Healthy skepticism is appreciated; however, I will not work with someone who is not sincerely seeking information.
- The final word of advice I have for future clients is to not have any pre-conceived ideas about what the information may be. Often the information that comes through is new, and you will not always be able to identify with it. The reason you are contacting me is because you do not have the answers. We both have to stay open to anything that comes through, and acknowledge the possibility of the informations' assistance.
- It is worth mentioning that I do filter sensitive information to certain loved ones. If, during the course of our conversation, a sensitive issue comes up such as a person being deceased when there is hope that they are alive, or any other information which is deemed by myself as inappropriate or sensitive, I will often ask the inquirer to have Law Enforcement contact me free of charge and I will discuss the information with them. In such a circumstance, I will always note the information and pass it on to the proper authorities at your request.
